Welcome back everyone. Today i’m going to show you how to make a lizard skin. But don’t think this tutorial as only for lizard skin with this tutorial you will learn how to change hair color, eye color and replace skin or anything with a texture. This is final work.

As always start with opening photoshop. Download image, open it with photoshop crop the bottom part of her and save it as psd file. We are ready to go. I first started with duplicating the image layer and changing it blend mode to multiply. I mask out the face areas to make them a little brighter then the rest of the image. You will lose some details after replacing skin so i use burn tool to paint some shadows on these areas.

Next Part is changing the eye colors. Its really a simple job. Create a new layer, zoom in to eyes, pick up your brush, set your color to red and paint over pupils of the model. After finishing set layer blending mode to overlay.

Now let’s change the skin texture. Download image and bring it to your photoshop document. Resize to fit it. Change the blending mode to overlay again and mask out the parts other then her skin.

I want to show you how to change the color of her skin. Create a new layer on top of everything and fill whole layer with #032f0f. By using previous mask (that we use for skin texture) mask out the unwanted areas. Change this layers blending to color, duplicate it and change duplicated layers blending mode to multiply.

This time let’s change the color of hair. Pick your brush tool, with color #e1b9ff and paint over her hair. This time set your blending mode to soft light.

Finally we will change the lips color. Create a new layer again and by using your brush paint over her lips with the same color as you do with her hairs. Then set your blending mode to color this time. And it’s done.
