Dark Angel Photomanipulation Tutorial

Hello everyone. In this tutorial i will show you how to design a grunge style photomanipulation. You will learn how to blend different images into one composition. This is our final result;

Fire up photoshop and create a new file with dimensions 1240×1748 pixels. We will first start with our background. Download Grunge Background v2 and Grunge Texture ii. First open up Grunge Background v2 and re size it to fit your canvas, then bring Grunge Texture ii to your canvas and set blending for that layer to multiply.

Next download Steam Raider 2 stock 16 and mask out background of it.Then duplicate that layer and set its blending option to overlay.

It’s time for wings. Download Demon Wings – PSD STOCK It’s a great psd file including wings already masked out and ready to use. Copy and paste them in your document as always and position them as shown. We are going to do same as model layer to wings layer. Duplicate wings layer and set it’s blending option to overlay.

For a final touch, we are going to add fibers. Create a new layer on top. Fill it with white color. Set your foreground color to white and background color to black. Select filter -> Render -> Fiber.. apply these settings, set the layer blending to overlay and reduce opacity to %60 and its finished.
